Nowadays, The implementation of the technology is not only beneficial for the communication and information, but it is also useful for the stevedoring business.
The discharging system using MBS (Mobile Bagging System) has been practiced on Pare Pare branch while discharging of bulk fertilizer from Bontang.
The MBS emphasize on the time and energy efficiency, the process begins with dicharging the cargo inside hatch by using grab and moving it to the side of the ship where the cargo is going to be poured inside a hopper that is connected to the MBS.
Inside MBS the fertilizer is filled inside a bag and sealed. Afterwards, the inbag fertilizer is connecting to roller conveyor and dropped on truck and dispatched to consignee’s warehouse.
